Riya noticed something strange on her way to school. The big clock tower in the town square had stopped at exactly 6:55. At first, she thought it was broken, but then she saw something even stranger—people around her had stopped moving too.
Cars stood still, birds hung in the air, and even the wind seemed frozen. Only Riya could move.
Curious and a little scared, she walked closer to the clock tower. At its base, she found a small, glowing key. Without thinking, she picked it up. Suddenly, a soft voice whispered, “Time needs your help.”
Riya climbed the tower and found a tiny door behind the clock. Inside, gears had stopped turning. She carefully placed the key into a slot and turned it.
Tick… tick… tick…
The clock started again. Instantly, the world came back to life.
Riya smiled and hurried to school, knowing she had just saved time itself—though no one else would ever know.
