The brave girl and the mango tree

Long ago, in a small Indian village, a girl named Anaya lived. She loved climbing the old mango tree near her home. One day, a big storm came, shaking the village. The winds were so strong that the villagers feared the mango tree would fall.

But Anaya wasn’t scared. She ran to the tree and gently tied ropes around its trunk, calling her friends to help. Together, they worked hard, using sticks and stones to support the roots. The elders watched, surprised by the children’s courage.

After the storm passed, the villagers came out and saw the mango tree still standing. Everyone cheered for Anaya and her friends. They learned that despite being young, they could make a difference with bravery and teamwork.

The next summer, the mango tree produced the sweetest fruits the village had ever tasted. Anaya became a hero, showing that courage doesn’t depend on age—it comes from the heart.

Moral: True courage and teamwork can protect what we love, no matter how young or small we are.
