In a quiet forest lived four close friends: a deer, a crow, a mouse, and a tortoise. Though they were different in size and speed, they trusted one another completely. The deer was swift, the crow could fly high and see far, the mouse had sharp teeth, and the tortoise was slow but wise.

One day, the deer did not return at sunset. The crow flew out to search and found him trapped in a hunter’s net. The deer’s eyes were filled with fear. The crow quickly returned and told the others. The mouse rushed to the spot and began gnawing at the ropes with his sharp teeth. Just as the deer was freed, the tortoise slowly arrived to check on his friend.

Suddenly, the hunter appeared. The deer and crow escaped quickly, but the slow tortoise was caught. Now it was their turn to rescue him. The deer pretended to be injured to distract the hunter, while the crow pecked around him. Meanwhile, the mouse chewed through the tortoise’s bonds.

The friends all ran and hid safely in the forest. From that day on, the four friends lived happily and always helped one another in times of trouble.

The lesson: True friendship and teamwork can overcome any danger.
