The Two Seeds

Once upon a time, in a quiet garden, two little seeds lay side by side deep in the soft soil.

The first seed was full of hope. “I want to grow,” she said with excitement. “I want to send my roots deep into the earth, drink the water below, and stretch my leaves toward the warm sun. I want to feel the breeze and see the world.”

So, the first seed began her journey. She pushed her tiny roots downward and her shoot upward. It was not easy. Sometimes the soil was too hard, sometimes the sun was too hot, and sometimes the rain was too heavy. But she kept growing. Slowly, she turned into a beautiful green plant.

The second seed, however, was afraid. “What if the soil is too cold? What if my roots hit a stone? What if something eats me when I grow?” she whispered. “It’s safer to stay here and wait.”

So, the second seed stayed buried and silent.

One day, a hungry bird digging in the soil found the second seed and ate it.

The first seed, who had taken the risk, stood tall and strong, her leaves shining in the sunlight.

Moral: Taking risks and facing challenges helps us grow. If we let fear stop us, we may never discover how far we can go.
