When Akash joined his school’s trekking club, he dreamed of reaching every mountain peak. During his first trek, he proudly carried a compass given by his grandfather. Halfway through the journey, the compass slipped from his pocket and broke. Feeling defeated, Akash believed he could never find the correct path.

The guide smiled and said, ‘A compass helps, but your mind is your greatest guide.’
Instead of giving up, Akash observed the trail markers, watched the position of the Sun, listened carefully to instructions, and worked closely with his teammates. Step by step, he reached the summit.

Standing at the top, Akash realised that success did not come from a perfect compass. It came from patience, courage, and the willingness to learn.

When he returned home, he kept the broken compass on his study table. It reminded him that obstacles are not the end of a journey. They are opportunities to discover strengths we never knew we had.

From that day onward, Akash never feared mistakes. He understood that determination can always point us in the right direction.
